I always get jealous of your dollar per gallon sale! Its a nice dimension. I used to have a Aquaticlife 30" fixture over mine but they were really 24" bulbs. 30" Led is the way to go!

Yes they should work - the measurements provided are for the hoses depending on your hose diameter. Get the one thats the right size and you're good!

I have a 13W spiral CFL on mine that seems to fit.. 13W makes it pretty low-tech for my 6Gallon though.. also since it's mounted side-ways, you lose some efficiency. 13W on a 3G would be plenty IMO...
