6x PC 55w or 4x t5HO over 120g

Just a quick question.
I have the ballasts to run 6x 55-watt power compacts or 4x 4ft t5HO.
This is over a 4ft 120gallon tank.
Which would be the better choice?

I thought I made a pretty good choice with the 175w XM lighting 10,000k bulb but my plants grow long and spindly too.

This is over a 30g tank.

I would love to find a better bulb.
