Not much... Cut them out of the tank... Scrape silicone off. Cut overflows to desired height. Silicone back in place. Done. Few hours work ,tops.

Multies are great. I think that 8-10 is a good safe start. And when you get them to start breeding, it's hard to stop. Your 10 will soon turn to 50+. But, you obviously can't keep that many in there....

You can also leave your top cracked right at the front and that will make the glass not fog up. You will loose a little humidity, but if you mist twice a day and or have a fogger, you should be fine.
