I've had a Fluval 305 on my 55 for about 2 years with no issues. On my old 30 gallon I ran a Fluval 205 for 5+ years. I've never tried Eheim, but I'm a fluval fan.

Did you like the spray bar? I need more flow in the tank, and I didn't know if the spray bar would work better than the duck bill return that the fluvals normally come with. My tank is a 55 gallon.
