if your tank is moderately to densely planted then they will most likely hide 90% of the time. if you add in another species that's more out going, that tends to draw the CPDs out more.

The ones I kept died pretty quick. They lasted about 3 months. Had 2 clutches hatch but the babies were also very hard to keep alive. Sulawesis are just hard to keep minus the cardinals.

I don't see why yogurt wouldn't work. I'd give it a try. I would 86 the osmocote as that might burn and kill the moss.

I think that is fairly common with manzy wood. I found it harmless. It's just an eyesore. You can always take the wood out and pressure wash or scrub it off.
