Yellow leaves do not recover and "heal" itself. They will either stay in the same shape or slowly start to die off and rot.

What's the concentration are you trying to acheive? It also depends on what kind of fert regime you are trying to follow and what type of regime will depend on your light and co2 setup.

There's no sub species of cherry shrimp but just different colors and patterns. Hard to tell for sure from that picture but my guess would be sakura grade cherry shrimp.
