I have the API test kit. I have tested for ammonia, nitrite and nitrates. Ammonia and nitrite are at 0 and nitrate is 10-20. I also use Prime with each water change.

Thanks Diana. I have seen neon tetra disease before in previous tanks. My previous experience with neons is that if you buy 10 of them, you can expect 6 or 7 to live. I have never had 11/12 die...
