If your asking about the fittings for the bubble counter, they are just slip on. Now that you mention that, I'm really surprised that the co2 line wouldn't blow of before the plastic would grenade....

Sorry, my mistake. I did mean the needle valve was closed, not the check valve. This was a paintball CO2 setup with a Swagelok needle valve.
