The plant that is sold as "baby tears" in nurseries is most likely Soleirolia. It was formerly known as helxine soleiroli. It does look similar to H. callitrichoides but will not survive submerged.

Looks like it's in the new growth that's showing signs of chlorosis. Which would be a sign of iron deficiency. Here is a good picture of Rotala rotundifolia that has an iron deficiency.
