It's strictly a low-tech 29g, 1 wpg, sand substrate. No ferts have been necessary so far. Stock is one male betta, 3 black kuhlis, 3 otos, 3 zebra danios. All have been happy and healthy for months....

My betta doesn't bother the ghost shrimp except at feeding time. When the shrimp come to the surface for the food, he'll chase them off, otherwise they ignore each other.
