Any stem plant trimmings I've had seem to do find just floating at the top. I have some Rotala and HM that have been up there for probably a month now. The HM trimmings seem to cling to each other...

Just wanted to give an update - I've had the rams and gudgeons together for 5 days now, and they're doing just fine. I haven't seen any aggression or territorial issues, and everyone is eating well.

I can certainly believe these results. My HC is barely hanging on, and even stem plants like Ludwigia repens are leggy and have a lot of distance between nodes.
