The rhizome is not buried, is it? I'd tie it to a top of a rock or decor if it's not already. Take it out for a good inspection, trim the bad leaves, bad roots.

Update. It's a total mess, but most plants are living now. Right now I'm just waiting for everything to settle well then I'll hopefully make it a little more aesthetically pleasing.

The ludwigia or whatever it is was an impulse buy at petco. Was only $3 and looked healthy so I thought why not.

Accidentally bought Rotala Wallichi. It's super thin now, has thinner browning leaves etc. And my amazon swords can never seem to beat the algae.

So I am thinking about selling a few of these...

I think I got a nitrate spike from too many root tabs already though : ( as soon as I added Osmocote plus tabs, my nitrates have been way higher than usual, so can't add any more.

They are really pretty huh. I like how they are dark, but have bright blueish hues with orange fins. Monsters, and steal snails algae wafers lol, but fun to have for sure : )
