A few degrees doesn't make a difference. I don't measure the temperature of my water either, before I add it. But just saying add cold water can be interpreted in many ways.

As long as they are active somtime... I have a group of 6 and they don't move around much either as they are so timid. And their only tank mates are shrimp, so no bullies.

The 70gal in my signature was with Seachem Tahitan Moon sand (just black sand) and some Laterite as base layer only. I had med-high light and Co2 and never had any problems!
