The fert KNO3 also will raise nitrates.
Lowering the level of them now is important of course but what is causing it...

I have two 10g tanks. One has an Odyssea fixture rated as very good reflectors by Hoppy's chart. It holds two bulbs, but I can only use one in it. And only for 7.5 hrs.

To put it quite simply...I cringe at paying $7 for a package that has less
than one OZ of algae wafers in it.
