I'm no expert by any means but the stem is a bigger diameter than the repens I have. Also the leaves have red veins but that may be the difference in lighting and ferts.

Almost any bulb color will grow plants...typically people use the 6500K bulbs that can be found at the local home improvement store...just be sure to get the 32 watt bulbs that match your fixture....

You can always try 2 and see since its the AH Supply kits. I believe you are gonna want at least 1 more though depending on plant selection. This will also give you better spread over the 18" depth....
