I definitely know my tank is NOT high light because it takes a lot more light for deeper tanks. Mine is 31" deep.

From what I am being told the lotus is a medium light plant.

Not that I noticed. There was one large plant & 5 smaller ones all clumped together. I noticed many roots but nothing that looked like a bulb. Unless it was very small because the plant divided?

Basically if its a glass tank scratched on the inside & isn't a 200+ gallon tank. The easiest & cheapest way to fix the scratch is to buy a new tank.

Yeah thats fine for the scratches on the outside. Doesn't do much good for scratches on the inside though. I don't think I have ever scratched the outside of a tank.

I definately wouldn't use anything in my tank not made for aquariums. The only way to remove the scratches is to polish them of which is VERY hard in a glass aquarium.

So I just worked it out & I ended up paying $4.25CDN per shrimp. Not a great steal but pretty good considering how rare they are up here.

I was recently at a local aquarium club auction & purchased 3 lots of Crystal red shrimp.

The prices of the lots ranged from $14 - $24CDN for 5 shrimp per lot. I am not sure what grade they are...
