I doubt they would eat full grown mystery snails. What size dojos are we talking? Most dojos you see are only 3-4inches, which shouldn't be too much of a problem to bigger sized invertebrates....

I don't think the dojo will do well, but they are quite hardy. They are actually cold water fish are prefer temps on the lower side.

If the population gets too big, just scoop out whatever you can catch and donate/sell them to a LFS. Then continue when the population has grown too big again. I agree that angels would work as well.

Not sure how different neons are from cardinals, but mine are pigs and come to the surface if I'm anywhere near the tank and gobble down anything I put in the tank.
