Yes it does have a check valve but I also have a standard aquarium check valve after that.
My bps is pretty stable until pressure changes a lot. I do need to adjust bps two or three times a week...

Do you mean for the standard setup? Yes for that. Just slosh around the baking soda. It stays mostly powder for a long time. The citric acid you shake till it dissolves.

It wood be easy to test. Fill it and set in a garbage can or something outside. If it fails then you had fun blowing something up. That's always a good time here in Appalachian country.

On the other hand if your going to try the method where you add critic acid, baking soda and water to your bottle at one shot that may work. No idea what pressure those systems operate at.

I would have to read through my results here and my notes for a specific answer but that's pretty much what this thread is about. In short pressure and duration change depending on the formula used.

I think fittings would a problem. I doubt diy pressure would be a problem. Your not going to get a place to fill it with co2 if that's what you mean. Bottles have to be pressure tested first.
