I agree, that is why my EI based package comes with a 4:1 ratio of KNO3 versus everything else. I have just started to look into PPS-PRO and havent gotten the quantities right yet, but will shortly....

That does not contain any phosphates which is an essential macronutrient. Im sure its possible to grow HC with the micro/macro mix but you would be way better off going with a better all around kit...
