Looks like a fine system. Does APEC manufacture their own RO membranes or are they just white labeling exact same DOW Filmtec membrane that basically all RO system assemblers use? Unit certainly...

What?

If you have "2000 TDS" water you don't need an RO unit, you need a hazmat suit.

BRS recommends no more than 300 TDS on most of their systems I've seen. They recommend no more than 200 TDS...

Thank you.

So I think 34g KNO3 in 1L of water is .337M concentration of K. Adding K2SO4 would be

Ksp = [K]^2[SO4]

or
1.32 = (.337+2x)^2 * x

solving i get

KNO3 and K2SO4 Combined Solubility

So I understand that when you put KNO3 and K2SO4 in solution they each have their own solubility. I think that since they share a K+ ion, the total solubility for both of them in the same solution is...

50% increase all at once is a non-trivial change. Wonder what would happen if you increased traces by 5-10% per week for a few weeks until you got to a net 50% increase. Maybe with the stunting...

I have S. Repens and S. Subulata that are just barely hanging on after months in the tank. They do sprout new growth, but the old growth dies off at about an equal rate. Same...

Anyone have any insight at what point Sodium and/or Chloride levels become an issue? I've got ~30-40ppm Sodium and 60-70ppm Chloride in the tap and wondering if it is contributing to the poor/no...
