I run my 20lb Co2 tank for 6-8 months at a time(at least...it might even be longer), about 4-5 BPS, and it costs $20 to fill. :)

I feed my fish everything. Cichlid & community pellets, cichlid & community flakes, frozen mysis, bloodworms, brine shrimp. Seems to be the best bet to diversify the food source.

PVC cleaner helps a lot. PVC is coated in a resin that needs to be removed in order to get a good weld from the glue.

(FYI, I've glued miles of PVC together:mad:)
