It's just too bright where it is atm. Constant algae. Also, all the emersed plants lean towards the window so I have to keep spinning them round.

Considering moving it under lights. Shame...

The only thing I've changed about Walstad's method is more frequent water changes. It's not flawed, it's just different.

Let your plants establish for a while and aim for around 50-75% planted. Don't be tempted to push your stocking levels. Otherwise all the same...
