I like the idea of never having to see the tubing. If I had the cash, I'd go for the full on aquavas system over the ada equivalent.

You'll have fun playing with it. If you decide to see what it can do, lower your water level a bit first. You can get a pretty good wave going. Although, I'm sure you've seen it before.

Has anyone else tried these yet? I just had the 13mm set delivered today. I'm impressed. I'm pretty sure these the exact same thing as the Do! Aqua pipes. These just have the co2art logo on them...

Do! Aqua makes a 20mm inflow. I forgot about that. It's $120. You'd still have to use a 17mm outflow.

It's way too much. I tried. Even.at it's lowest setting it too much. Well.. it kinda ok. Massive overkill. I was never able to use it to any benifit.

Use cheap dirt (topsoil). The organic stuff is fine. What your after is getting the soil to break down and decay before it goes into your tank.

The 2217 has too much flow. You could try using a ball valve to slow the filters output. That might help. Basically, the co2 doesn't have time to dissolve and builds up into a gas pocket.

The whole idea with mineralized topsoil is that you're breaking down the soil into powder basically. If you just throw it in your tank as dirt, your loosing a lot of the benefits.
