I use the plastic pots that they sell aquatic...

I use the plastic pots that they sell aquatic plants in all the time they work great. I would think the fabric pots would be fine also.

The largest stone shouldn't be at the end but somewhere off center. Think of the rule of thirds. It should be at one of those points.

I had it growing it a 2.5 g tank in dirt with no co2. I fertilized the water column regularly. It is a pretty hardy plant and colors up nicely under a couple of cfls.

I don't know. I use tops on almost all my tanks because it is dry here and things evaporate too fast. Cleaning the glass is a pain. You'll get better light without one.

Looks like a nice list. I grow most of those without co2. I do fertilize my tanks even the ones with MGrow and sand substrates. Seems to help a lot.
