Never owned any cichlids before, but German Blue Rams are the best looking to me. Thinking about getting a pair in the future.

The one all the way on the left might be rotala macrandra, but its hard to tell. The one to the left of rotala roundifolia might be ammania gracilis. Just my guess.

It is Ludwigia glanduosa, not Ludwigia Repens. It is transitioning to submersed growth like everyone said. I always had trouble with this plant even with high light and co2/ ferts when it transitions...

I keep it in relatively high light and co2 and it needs weekly trimming.Never kept it in a low tech set up. Not as demanding as others claim it to be.

If I had a spare 30 gallon, I would get cherry barbs, gold barbs, harlequin rasboras, maybe zebra danios, corydoras, and maybe kuhli loaches.

Let them float in your tank for a while before planting them. In my experience, Wisteria is adaptable and will be growing quickly
