I'd fill it with dried banana leaves (on eBay, $2 + $1 shipping for a big bag) and live plants. Maybe some driftwood too. It'd make a cool blackwater tank.

I soak mine in a plastic bag for about 2 days until they sink easily and then I put them in the tank. Then I pour the tinted water into the tank if I want blackwater.
