Thanks for the reply. I don't use activated carbon in this tank. I only use a sponger filter and Hagen Elite mini filter filled with bio media for circulation.

I guess I'll try calibrating my TDS...

It differs on the concentration of NaCl. Use TDS 342 solution. Also, I retract my statement before. You shouldn't use distilled water to calibrate your TDS meter.
