I've had ich twice in my tank since Feb, and have had good success with Jungle Labs Ick Away or Ick Guard tablets that use victoria green - it's effective and won't kill your plants or fish.

I've had good success with the Jungle Ick tabs, they use Victoria Green which is safe for plants and fish. No deaths, and cleared it up quickly.
