in my experience dead fish decompose/get eaten within a couple days. Especially guppies due to their slender bodies. Always try to scoop a dead fish out as early as possible.

I didn't know they were hazardous to shrimp! Maybe I should dose fenbendazole in my tanks again! Ive had to do this to get rid of Hydra in my 10 gal tank before. Nasty little buggers.

Looks like planaria. I have them also. They don't cause any trouble that I've seen. Some fish like to eat them. They should also keep your substrate healthy

I run my 20oz all day long at just enough rate to keep my co2 checker green 24/7 and it lasts around 2 weeks. I have two of them so i refill once a month. This is in a 38 gallon tank btw...
