rlly like the tank! If anything Id agree with Iamiskool, use co2 for faster carpeting- but diy co2 system is just as good. I carpeted an old tank full of hc with a diy that wasnt a hassle at all.

My friend got theirs from Amazon, so Id look into that. He has a 135gal so they were pretty big pieces (I think he got them for about $15/piece and they took up most of his tank). Hope this helps :]

I've found most of mine in rivers that are near my place and so far...so good. Haven't had any problems (of course, I do boil/bleach before putting them into any tanks heh)

Agreed- my friend had a Jack Dempsey and thats all he did. He lived to be like 7 or something like that, so no worries. Unless he starts refusing food, I wouldn't worry.

Id say save it, mine looked the same after leaving it out on some driftwood that was left outside. I ended up using the driftwood in a new tank I set up and its slowly growing back.. surprisingly....
