With my experience I have used both pimafix and melafix. Great for helping with bacterial and fungal infections. I notice it promotes molting cause soon after I dose my tank and my shrimp are happy...

I had the same problem....... I destroyed that planted and made a new one. Don't let it get our of control! Siamese Algae Eaters eat the early stages but they will eat CRS fry and eggs!
