It does look like my jungle vals, but gets no way...

It does look like my jungle vals, but gets no way near the same size. It seems to max out at about 5"-6".

Is there such a thing as a red val?

Anyone know what this is? The top part of the leaves are a reddish brown. The leaves seem perfectly healthy, and not dying.

Looks like a Val or Sag.

I use those in almost all my tanks. In my 10g's, I use both the I's and II's, but you probably have to cut the uplift tube for the II.

IMO, the III is a little overkill.

I've never used paint, but i have rubbed silicone on the pvc and covered it with the same sand used in the aquarium.

You can still tell its a tube, but it blends in a little better.
