I agree with previous posters that a ruger 10/22 is a great way to get started. Especially if your tight on money. There is plenty of aftermarket support to personalize it to suit your tastes. :D

I noticed I had different results with some diffusers and check valve combos. Spring loaded check valves would give me problems keeping consistent bps for some odd reason compared to unsprung plug...
