My favorite "goofy" fish is the Hoplo catfish....

My favorite "goofy" fish is the Hoplo catfish. Mine is very active and always feeling around with his whiskers!

Who's the agressor?

Recently I found one of my female swordtails with her tail fin totally shredded. It doesn't seem to be finrot as there are no other symptoms, and I don't think it's a water quality issue as I tested...

The one on the right looks unwell. Whiteness in normally clear shrimps is not a good sign.

No idea what they are though, but I've seen similar shrimp sold as amanos at petco before.

Mine attacked my clown killis and ate my shrimp. I owuldn't recomend them to a community tank.

Although I've never actually owned them, Microrasbora kubotai and M. nana always capture my attention at stores.
They're not tetras, but they are great schoolers.

I've got this in my tanks, and in my experience it's pretty easy to keep. It will turn red and wavy under high light, but will grow just fine under low light conditions.
