In terms of function, id see no reason to use anything other than aquasoil.

The grain is way better to work with IMO, the substrate overal makes running a planted tank far easier than anything...

EI recommends dosing full N P K. then trace + GH booster.

With ADA you simply use step 1 which is mainly trace, then add some K.
