The Beamswork you linked IMO would be more than a low/med tech with 1watt LEDs. The one Im using has .5watt LEDs and seems just about perfect.

Yep, I have a smaller version in my 56G column for similar reasons....mostly for circulation but also to suck up some pleco waste from the bottom. Works very well as it basically just a powerhead...

Agreed..."regular" glass tanks do fine for most people. I will never personally buy into the whole starphire glass concept...if you want rimless and totally clear just get acrylic IMO.
