Lol I have 2 CFL bulbs over each side of the tank (23W each) and they grow high light plants just fine. You'll be fine, dosing CO2 will help tremendously.

And pH swings due to CO2 really don't affect fish much.
I turn my powerhead off about 2 hours before I go lights out, then Oxygen levels are good and CO2 levels are down :)

Recently I've been having great luck with Bacopa Caroliniana. Under good lighting they go bronze and the new growth comes in red.

I kind of just skimmed through the vid since I've seen it before. One thing to remember is if you are doing the dry start planting make sure to spray them every once in a while so they don't dry out...
