All the plants you're about to get are stem plants which need to be planted down to the substrate...at least 1in (I normally do 1-1.5in)...

I believe the one you have is regular baby tears (HM)...not dwarf baby tears (HC).
The HM grows tall...even in my high tech...they do spread but eventually will go up follow the light.

It works. Anubias doesn't require much lighting. So doesn't matter where you put it (not bury the rhizome under the substrate), as long as it grows healthy. You should be fine!
