Are you planning to upgrade to a 5 or 10lb CO2 tank. For a tank that size a paintball canister wouldn't cut it. Anyways, keep updating the post.

For my tanks I only use Bacter 100 & Tourmaline BC. You only use a small amount there will be plenty of leftovers. They are only recommended if it is a brand new setup that needs to start building...

Well, I'm thinking of upgrading from 2x55w CF light to LEDs. My tank is a 40g JEBO rimless 30", I know odd size right? I want to be able to grow a nice carpet of UG, tropica 049, blyxa, and Rotalas....

HC will do that when it is not getting enough light. Upgrade your light and start trimming them closer to the surface of your substrate. Keep trimming as they grow to help train it to spread...
