Basically I'm looking for the best beginner diy co2 reactor. I figured my first plant tank would end up being easier and simpler than my reef tanks. I'm beginning to think I'm wrong. :help:

sweet looking tank! I dig the macroalgae, but you should put more corals in there I think. But that's just the reef tank guy talkin. That's a unique approach to salt water that I haven't seen before....

Breaking the ionic bond between Ca+ and CO3- isn't very strong, but it doesn't make sense that it would take the Carbon from CO3- when it's much easier to break the bonds from CO2. Just my 2cents.
