I couldn't even keep plastic plants in with my comets. The fish would dig up and play with anything less than their own body weight. Sigh. Loved my goldfish and their mischievous personalities,...

Fish Safe Removable Putty?

I need to lightly anchor some pieces of my hardscape. My new tank will have some rocks perched on top of other rocks. Gravity will hold them in place, but I want extra security in case I bump them...

How long has the tank been running?

I haven't bothered using ammonia to cycle a planted tank. Instead I do a gradual ramp up over a period of about a month. I start off with the plants and any...

Ember tetras are awesome. I had a shoal of them for a while along with some shrimp in a 10 gallon planted tank.

I also kept pygmy corydoras with cherry shrimp in a 10 gallon. Something that's...

Interesting. I hadn't known they tend to drop the pH. I'll file that nugget away. My...
