40 Breeder medium light - 2xT5HO or LED?

I'm trying to decide on what to get for this tank I've just set up. I'm considering either the Aquaticlife 2x39W T5HO which is about $100 but I'd like to do LED if an equivalent brightness can be had...

You don't need the latest DSLR to get great shots, and in fact with the stock camera kit alone your pics aren't going to be very good, simply because standard aquarium lighting isn't bright enough....

How do you photograph your tank? My fish shots are great because I use a flash above the tank, but FTS's always look terrible in comparison.
