There is a superglue specifically formulated for plastic, plexiglass, etc called Plastic Surgery, that works great for things like this. I found it at Ace Hardware.

I would sure rethink using the Hydor 200w in-line. I use one on my 26g tank and would never go back to an intank heater.

One more tip... prior to filling with the water sample, I always rinse my tubes with tank water. It will make sure you are not contaminating your sample with water from the tap, or whatever water...

It's really frustrating to spend the time to clean and change water only to watch a bunch of crap blow out...

When I restart my filters, I remove the spraybar and take a cheap filter media bag and slip it over the outlet, turn it on and it catches a lot of the crud that comes out on a restart.

You don't want to use a gas separator instead of a check valve. Without the check valve. Water from the tank could still still siphon back into your C02 mixture.

I have not seen anybody do this on here, is there a flaw in doing it this way that I am missing?

I have a 75g with two XP3's. Right side filter I have the spray bar mounted in the normal fashion...
