Remember with anything in series like that...
Remember with anything in series like that ....... One clog ( plant parts, dead fish, or even restricted flow) your filter will continue to run and overflow your tank till the ones "down stream" are...

Opinions on tank sizes wanted!!
Im thinking of building a stand to hold multiple tanks in the same spot ....
Trouble is cant pick what size tanks. I was thinking about two 30 or 40 gal breeders side by side or a stand with 4 20...

my water averages 70 ppm caco3 and 25.5 ppm ca.
this seems to not mesh with the numbers you guys are posting. Can anyone explain this too me? and what are safe ranges for plants!?
