So the sands that are neutral are keeping the ph at whatever the waters ph you are putting in the tanks correct?

Sand substrate what's your PH?

I was trying to get some ideas for substrate that people are using, any sand users out there? If so what type is it and where is your ph at? I'm trying to escape the from the aquasoil repurchase...

Well I have one that has very little coloring at all but it dug itself a cave in the sand and sticks it's head out! So hopefully tomorrow at feedingn I can get a visual!

I just started a ground cover with narrow lead micro sword and I was wondering if anyone has done a cover with this before. If so what worked or didnt work for you? Thanks for all the help.

I just dont want to uproot my whole planted tank and start all over just for a couple discus lol. If I could start them with a fuly planted tank like as is i would but I also dont want to kill them...

After reading your guide it kind of turns me off because they would be going into a fully planted 80g that has been up and running for 2 years.... Might just have to stay with angels. :(

Discus Care

I'm looking into getting a few discus and I was wondering if anyone had any tips for making them as happy as I can. I would love to have some little babies at some point in time:)

Ive read that they will become berried but not hatch in solid fresh they need to be in brackish... Ive had about 7 berried but they always
drop the clutch...:( I wish you luck with urs though
