how big is your tank? And how many of each species do you have? get more plants because puffers can be nippy and territorial and they eat shrimp. the shrimp will want to hide.

I can imagine that they wouldn't have eaten due to the stress of acclimating to a new environment.

I could also see that they would actually go for live food more...
