LEDs are brighter

I don't have a par meter, but I have changed from CFL bulbs with good reflectors on a few tanks, and I think LEDs are close to 3 x the brightness of CFLs.

i think if you don't get rid of the ugf you will always fight nitrates.. They are hard to keep clean. Too much sludge gets into the substrate which is difficult to keep clean with plants.. Many years...

well I recieved my ray2 and I have to say it is very nice.. It also is no brighter than the PC lamps I was using. Thats not a negative.. I am glad since the system is already working with the lamp...
