Sony online might be free but I find it lags and disconnects a lot, which is annoying when trying to play Madden and MLB. I'll gladly pay 50 a year for a good server.

Check for nitrites, they are even more deadly then ammonia and the nitrifying bacteria are more fragile then ammonia eating bacteria. You could have a spike.

All my tanks pH is in the 6.5 range (no CO2 injection) and I have baby shrimps everywhere.

Even 8 ppm would hardly register in my pH of 6 at 80 degrees.

I'd rather not chance it lol.

We know you can make a checker for CO2 but is there any possible way to make one to keep an eye on nitrates?

I know it wouldn't be 100% accurate for the most part but I still think it could help.
