i just trim mine like that. gows back fine, just dont cut too low or youll expose the white lower parts.(looks crummy and takes longer to grow back.

2X4s are stronger on edge, id lap the front 2x4s past the sides so they both have bearing on the up rights. definitly use some corner brackets. good luck

i have a 7 and 10 gal both with 2-26watt day light bulbs and can grow pretty much anything. 52 watts over those should be high.

hc is a type of liverwort and so "eats" stuff out of the water. sand may crush its fine roots. mine is thriving (a liitle too well) in flora base.

i have some in anew set up(1 month) and its doing...

i have some in anew set up(1 month) and its doing great, sending runners and looking healthy. substrate is flora base, diy c02, potassium nitrate, and flourish comp. cool plant, good luck

extra long tank

starting up a new tank (12x12x48") 30 long, and was wondering if any one had seen or has a cool aquascaped looong and low tank? i plan 3-4 wats/gal, c02 and all that good stuff. id like to grow...
