How are your Dario Dario doing? Getting them to eat regularly was the biggest problem I had when I first got mine. Once I put them with malawa and RCS shrimp, they started breeding for me.

Fwiw I have amanos in both my cpd breeder tank and the grow out tank. I haven't noticed any predation. Fry and amanos both like to hang out in the dwarf water lettuce in my grow out. Ymmv

Wow I have to figure out where you guys get your fish, on Long Island, N.Y.. german blue rams are between $6 - 10. Electric blues are more like $25-30. So $15 souunds like a deal to me. :)

I find my shrimp respond slowly to food when I overfeed them. Could it be that you are feeding them allittle to often. Try skipping a feeding and see if their response is better.
